I Fly High Dronetography (ABN 89 570 091 638) is a drone photography, video and inspection business based on the Central Coast of NSW. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean I Fly High Dronetography.

What we collect

When you send us an enquiry, a flight plan or a quote request, we collect the details you give us, which may include:

  • your name, business name, email address and mobile number
  • how you'd prefer us to contact you
  • details about your project, such as the type of job, the site address or suburb, dates and the files you'd like
  • anything else you choose to include in your message

If you call, text or email us directly, we keep the details of that conversation so we can follow up and quote accurately.

Why we collect it

We use your information to:

  • reply to your enquiry and prepare your quote
  • plan, carry out and deliver your job, including any approvals the flight needs
  • keep the business and tax records we're required to keep

We don't sell your information, and we won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask us to.

Who helps us handle it

We use a small number of trusted services to run the website and our email:

  • Cloudflare hosts this website and processes the forms you send.
  • Resend delivers the emails generated when you send a flight plan or quote request, including your copy.
  • Our email provider stores the messages we send and receive.

These providers handle your information only to provide their services to us. Some of them may store or process information outside Australia.

We may also share relevant details with an authority if the law requires it, for example when an aviation approval needs site or contact information.

Drone footage, people and property

We plan every flight to capture what the job needs. Sometimes people, vehicles or neighbouring property appear in the background of footage. We don't use footage to identify or track anyone.

We only use a client's footage in our own marketing, such as on this website, with their permission. If you appear in our footage and would like something removed or blurred, contact us and we'll look at it promptly.

Cookies and website data

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may briefly remember small settings, such as whether you've closed the "What are you planning?" bar, and these never leave your device.

Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information, such as IP addresses and browser types, to keep the site running securely.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and job information for as long as we need it to quote, deliver your job and support you afterwards, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. After that, we delete it or securely dispose of it.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including using secure, reputable services and limiting who can see your details.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@iflyhigh.com.au or calling 0468 831 381. We'll respond as soon as we reasonably can.
